🔤 Learning multiple new languages simultaneously, and not just one at a time (polyglot or not) | Polyglot ABC
This goes for aspiring polyglots - AS WELL AS - for single language learners ! In my previous blog post (" 🔤 A first thought about learning a new language i.e. becoming a polyglot ") , I already mentioned my stance on learning new languages is to scale UP the amount of new languages you're learning and actually try learning MORE new languages simultaneously, as opposed to scaling down to learning less new languages at a time. Here I'll sum up some of my reasoning behind that extensive new language learning stance… 1. First , as mentioned in the previous blog post, creating a greater challenge will generally result in greater gains . You don't even have to take my word for it… just experiment and see if it holds true.
